How it started
Jon Keller started climbing at seventeen and opened Taproot in 2004 with a used chipper and a pickup. The rule was simple: quote a fair price, stick to it, and leave the yard cleaner than you found it.
Twenty two years later the trucks are bigger and there is a crane in the yard, but the rule has not changed. Every quote is still signed off by an arborist who has seen the tree in person.

How we work
01
Price first
You get a fixed written number before anyone starts a saw.
02
Tree first
If pruning will save it, we say so, even when removal pays more.
03
Yard first
Ground mats, ropes and a rake. You should not be able to tell we were there.
Free site visit · fixed written price
An arborist comes out, measures it up and hands you a fixed price on paper. Usually within two days, and the visit never costs a thing.
Certified arborists in Alder County since 2004. Fully insured, never subcontracted.
